Exhibition Skills
Manage the process of planning an exhibition stand, from the initial decision through to design and delivery and learn how to work the audience by:
- Establishing whether or not to take a stand by understanding negotiating position and costing, setting budgets, timings and deadlines and assessing the pros and cons of joining with another supplier.
- Getting the best from design and content, knowing how to present material to the maximum effect, including brochures and handouts and evaluating the pros and cons of gimmicks, giveaways and competitions.
- Practising the key skills to engage people at the stand in conversation and confidently generate productive leads by asking effective questions and actively listen to answers, understanding body language, building rapport quickly and drawing out information.
- Developing personal presence through posture, use of voice and body language and recognising when to be assertive to avoid time wasting.
- Learning techniques to reach agreement and close a conversation.
